A dozen a day

Performance and installation of a crude clock, made from egg timers and egg carton paper-mâché.
“Infested ground, homes in the sky” home exhibition curated by Riccardi Vailati, Reykjavík 2025.

Sarah Moore talks about the relativity of time and its transformism linked to small everyday moments. By setting up an improbable clock, a new method of measuring time is proposed, marked precisely by the repetition of an unusual domestic action: waiting for an egg to boil. Six kitchen timers, distributed on a sundial of sculpted egg cartons, will follow each other as they expire and ring, finally completing a 60-minute cycle.”  -Riccardo Vailati
